Our darkest roast. A French Roast blend of Indonesian and African coffees. The flavor profile is spicy, smokey with dark chocolate undertones. Heavy bodied, low acidity with a dark maple-like finish.
About the Coffee
Many will tell you dark roasts are "burnt". We may be a bit old school but we think the right coffee, in the right hands can shine as a dark roast. This is a bold blend of Sumatra and Kenya for those who appreciate coffee the way it used to be. Great on its own, the Black Derby also shines with any proportion of milk or cream.
